Louwtjesduin East is located on the far western edge of the village, right next to the dunes and close to the nature reserve Westerplas.
Here, the outdoors is always close: the dunes extend into the garden and large windows bring the landscape inside.
Layout
The ground floor features a spacious and bright living room with a fully equipped open kitchen. Sliding doors connect directly to the garden and dunes.
The cozy seating area with wood stove creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The bathroom with toilet is also located on this level.
Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms, each with two single beds and a washbasin, overlooking the garden and dunes.
Outdoor space
The garden is truly special, blending into the surrounding dunes.
Climb the dune in the garden and you’ll enjoy views of the island’s water tower.
There are terraces on both the north and south side, with outdoor furniture and a picnic table — perfect for enjoying the sun throughout the day.
Location
Located in a quiet area on the edge of the village, within walking distance of both the beach and the centre.
Nearby you’ll find the well-known Shell Museum, a great place to learn more about what you can discover on the beach.
Tip: feel free to ask Thijs about your beach finds — he’ll happily tell you more about shells and other treasures from his own collection.

Wat een fantastisch weekend hebben we gehad. Het huisje was heerlijk, rustig, ruim, mooi verzorgd, de beheerders zijn lieve mensen, het eiland gastvrij zoals altijd - en we hadden het mooiste weer. Met als bonus een werkelijk betoverende zonsondergang! We konden het ons niet beter wensen.

Prima vakantie gehad , lauwtjes Dun Oost is netjes opgeknapt met een schitterende keuken . Daarnaast lekker dicht bij het centrum !

Heel fijn huisje op een heel fijn eiland!

Ligging van het huis, zowel vlak bij het dorp als op de rand van de duinen en vlak bij de strandovergang en de jachthaven is zeer aantrekkelijk.
Het huis was heel comfortabel, zeer compleet ingericht en recent nog opgeknapt. Grote glazen schuifdeuren achter en grote ramen aan de zijkant geven veel licht in huis en uitzicht op een begroeid duintje direct achter het huis. De slaapkamers waren voorzien van heel goede, comfortabele bedden.

We hebben weer een heerlijk verblijf op Schiermonnikoog gehad! Het huisje met heerlijke tuin was heel fijn en van alle gemakken voorzien, echt een aanrader!
